“There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera. That is the moment the photographer is creative. Oop! The Moment! Once you miss it, it is gone forever.”
-Henri Cartier-Bresson-
ABOUT ME
I want my photographs not only to be real but also to portray the essence of my subjects.
I am much more interested in reality. I observe, wait for all the elements of the picture to come together and for somebody to step into the frame. It can be like being a theatre or film director, find a location that provides a good backdrop, which can be thought of as a ‘stage’ for relationships.
